24: Next he presented Aaron's sons and put some of the blood on the lobe of their right ears, the thumb of their right hands, and the big toe of their right feet. He then sprinkled the rest of the blood against the sides of the altar.

Hebrews 9:18

  1. That is why blood was required under the first covenant as a proof of death.
