Leviticus 6:18
18: Any of Aaron's male descendants, from generation to generation, may eat of the grain offering, because it is their regular share of the offerings given to the LORD by fire. Anyone or anything that touches this food will become holy."
Leviticus 6:29

Leviticus 6:27

- they will remain defiled until evening. They must not eat any of the sacred offerings until they have purified their bodies with water.
- When the sun goes down, they will be clean again and may eat the sacred offerings. After all, this food has been set aside for them.
