10: "No one outside a priest's family may ever eat the sacred offerings, even if the person lives in a priest's home or is one of his hired servants.
1 Samuel 21:6
- So, since there was no other food available, the priest gave him the holy bread--the Bread of the Presence that was placed before the LORD in the Tabernacle. It had just been replaced that day with fresh bread.
Matthew 12:4
- He went into the house of God, and they ate the special bread reserved for the priests alone. That was breaking the law, too.
