Leviticus 21:18

18: No one who has a defect may come near to me, whether he is blind or lame, stunted or deformed,

1 Timothy 3:2

  1. For an elder must be a man whose life cannot be spoken against. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exhibit self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home and must be able to teach.
  2. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, peace loving, and not one who loves money.

Leviticus 22:19

  5. If the bull or lamb is deformed or stunted, it may still be offered as a freewill offering, but it may not be offered to fulfill a vow.
