5: The people of Israel must then bring him two male goats for a sin offering and a ram for a whole burnt offering.

They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven male goats as a sin offering for the kingdom, for the Temple, and for Judah. The king commanded the priests, who were descendants of Aaron, to sacrifice the animals on the altar of the LORD.

During the dedication ceremony for the Temple of God, one hundred young bulls, two hundred rams, and four hundred lambs were sacrificed. And twelve male goats were presented as a sin offering for the twelve tribes of Israel.

You must also sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering. This is in addition to the sin offering of atonement and the regular daily burnt offering with its grain offering, and their accompanying drink offerings.

The law of Moses could not save us, because of our sinful nature. But God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent his own Son in a human body like ours, except that ours are sinful. God destroyed sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.

That is why Christ, when he came into the world, said, "You did not want animal sacrifices and grain offerings. But you have given me a body so that I may obey you.
No, you were not pleased with animals burned on the altar or with other offerings for sin.
Then I said, 'Look, I have come to do your will, O God--just as it is written about me in the Scriptures.'"
Christ said, "You did not want animal sacrifices or grain offerings or animals burned on the altar or other offerings for sin, nor were you pleased with them" (though they are required by the law of Moses).
Then he added, "Look, I have come to do your will." He cancels the first covenant in order to establish the second.

"If the entire Israelite community does something forbidden by the LORD and the matter escapes the community's notice, all the people will be guilty.
When they discover their sin, the leaders of the community must bring a young bull for a sin offering and present it at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
The leaders must then lay their hands on the bull's head and slaughter it there before the LORD.
The priest will bring some of its blood into the Tabernacle,
dip his finger into the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD in front of the inner curtain.

On the day of Passover the prince will provide a young bull as a sin offering for himself and the people of Israel.
On each of the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt offering to the LORD. This daily offering will consist of seven young bulls and seven rams without any defects. A male goat will also be given each day for a sin offering.

"Now bring Aaron and his sons, along with their special clothing, the anointing oil, the bull for the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread

So Aaron went to the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sin offering for himself.
His sons brought him the blood, and he dipped his finger into it and put it on the horns of the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar.
Then he burned on the altar the fat, the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver from the sin offering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
The meat and the hide, however, he burned outside the camp.
Next Aaron slaughtered the animal for the whole burnt offering. His sons brought him the blood, and he sprinkled it against the sides of the altar.

He does not need to offer sacrifices every day like the other high priests. They did this for their own sins first and then for the sins of the people. But Jesus did this once for all when he sacrificed himself on the cross.
Those who were high priests under the law of Moses were limited by human weakness. But after the law was given, God appointed his Son with an oath, and his Son has been made perfect forever.

Then Moses brought in the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head
