7: I will lure Sisera, commander of Jabin's army, along with his chariots and warriors, to the Kishon River. There I will give you victory over him."

Then Elijah commanded, "Seize all the prophets of Baal. Don't let a single one escape!" So the people seized them all, and Elijah took them down to the Kishon Valley and killed them there.

The Kishon River swept them away--that ancient river, the Kishon. March on, my soul, with courage!

Come quickly, all you nations everywhere! Gather together in the valley." And now, O LORD, call out your warriors!
"Let the nations be called to arms. Let them march to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I, the LORD, will sit to pronounce judgment on them all.

Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. It is there that the day of the LORD will soon arrive.

Then you will jump up from your ambush and take possession of the city, for the LORD your God will give it to you.

But if it is an accident and God allows it to happen, I will appoint a place where the slayer can run for safety.

Then Deborah said to Barak, "Get ready! Today the LORD will give you victory over Sisera, for the LORD is marching ahead of you." So Barak led his ten thousand warriors down the slopes of Mount Tabor into battle.

"Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from the Sovereign LORD: When my people are living in peace in their land, then you will rouse yourself.

Yes, you have been wonderfully kind to me today, for when the LORD put me in a place where you could have killed me, you didn't do it.

For the LORD hardened their hearts and caused them to fight the Israelites instead of asking for peace. So they were completely and mercilessly destroyed, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
