John 16:1
1: "I have told you these things so that you won't fall away.
1 Peter 2:8
- And the Scriptures also say, "He is the stone that makes people stumble, the rock that will make them fall." They stumble because they do not listen to God's word or obey it, and so they meet the fate that has been planned for them.
Matthew 26:31
- "Tonight all of you will desert me," Jesus told them. "For the Scriptures say, 'God will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
- But after I have been raised from the dead, I will go ahead of you to Galilee and meet you there."
- Peter declared, "Even if everyone else deserts you, I never will."
Matthew 13:21
