1: A man named Lazarus was sick. He lived in Bethany with his sisters, Mary and Martha.
John 11:5
- Although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus,
- he stayed where he was for the next two days and did not go to them.
Luke 10:38
- As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a village where a woman named Martha welcomed them into her home.
