3: "Now, you people of Jerusalem and Judah, you have heard the case; you be the judges.
Psalms 50:4
- Heaven and earth will be his witnesses as he judges his people:
- "Bring my faithful people to me--those who made a covenant with me by giving sacrifices."
- Then let the heavens proclaim his justice, for God himself will be the judge.
Mark 12:9
- "What do you suppose the owner of the vineyard will do?" Jesus asked. "I'll tell you--he will come and kill them all and lease the vineyard to others.

- The Jewish leaders wanted to arrest him for using this illustration because they realized he was pointing at them--they were the wicked farmers in his story. But they were afraid to touch him because of the crowds. So they left him and went away.
