Isaiah 34:2
2: For the LORD is enraged against the nations. His fury is against all their armies. He will completely destroy them, bringing about their slaughter.

Revelation 14:15

- So the one sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the whole earth was harvested.
- After that, another angel came from the Temple in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle.
- Then another angel, who has power to destroy the world with fire, shouted to the angel with the sickle, "Use your sickle now to gather the clusters of grapes from the vines of the earth, for they are fully ripe for judgment."
- So the angel swung his sickle on the earth and loaded the grapes into the great winepress of God's wrath.
Amos 1:1
- This message was given to Amos, a shepherd from the town of Tekoa in Judah. He received this message in visions two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam II, the son of Jehoash, was king of Israel.
- This is his report of what he saw and heard: "The LORD's voice roars from his Temple on Mount Zion; he thunders from Jerusalem! Suddenly, the lush pastures of the shepherds dry up. All the grass on Mount Carmel withers and dies."
Revelation 20:9

Zechariah 14:12

- On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the LORD with great panic. They will fight against each other in hand-to-hand combat;
- Judah, too, will be fighting at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the neighboring nations will be captured--great quantities of gold and silver and fine clothing.
- This same plague will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the other animals in the enemy camps.
- In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.
Jeremiah 25:15
- Then the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me, "Take from my hand this cup filled to the brim with my anger, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink from it.
- When they drink from it, they will stagger, crazed by the warfare I will send against them."
- So I took the cup of anger from the LORD and made all the nations drink from it--every nation the LORD sent me to.
- I went to Jerusalem and the other towns of Judah, and their kings and officials drank from the cup. From that day until this, they have been a desolate ruin, an object of horror, contempt, and cursing.
- I went to Egypt and spoke to Pharaoh, his officials, his princes, and his people. They, too, drank from that terrible cup,
Revelation 19:15
- From his mouth came a sharp sword, and with it he struck down the nations. He ruled them with an iron rod, and he trod the winepress of the fierce wrath of almighty God.
- On his robe and thigh was written this title: King of kings and Lord of lords.
- Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, shouting to the vultures flying high in the sky: "Come! Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared.

Nahum 1:2
- The LORD is a jealous God, filled with vengeance and wrath. He takes revenge on all who oppose him and furiously destroys his enemies!
- The LORD is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.
- At his command the oceans and rivers dry up, the lush pastures of Bashan and Carmel fade, and the green forests of Lebanon wilt.
- In his presence the mountains quake, and the hills melt away; the earth trembles, and its people are destroyed.
- Who can stand before his fierce anger? Who can survive his burning fury? His rage blazes forth like fire, and the mountains crumble to dust in his presence.
Isaiah 30:27
- Look! The LORD is coming from far away, burning with anger, surrounded by a thick, rising smoke. His lips are filled with fury; his words consume like fire.
- His anger pours out like a flood on his enemies, sweeping them all away. He will sift out the proud nations. He will bridle them and lead them off to their destruction.
- But the people of God will sing a song of joy, like the songs at the holy festivals. You will be filled with joy, as when a flutist leads a group of pilgrims to Jerusalem--the mountain of the LORD--to the Rock of Israel.
- And the LORD will make his majestic voice heard. With angry indignation he will bring down his mighty arm on his enemies. It will descend with devouring flames, with cloudbursts, thunderstorms, and huge hailstones, bringing their destruction.
Isaiah 24:1
- Look! The LORD is about to destroy the earth and make it a vast wasteland. See how he is scattering the people over the face of the earth.
- Priests and laypeople, servants and masters, maids and mistresses, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, bankers and debtors--none will be spared.
- The earth will be completely emptied and looted. The LORD has spoken!
- The earth dries up, the crops wither, the skies refuse to rain.
- The earth suffers for the sins of its people, for they have twisted the instructions of God, violated his laws, and broken his everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 30:25
- In that day, when your enemies are slaughtered, there will be streams of water flowing down every mountain and hill.
