Isaiah 33:13

13: Listen to what I have done, you nations far away! And you that are near, acknowledge my might!"

As your name deserves, O God, you will be praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory.

Listen to me, all of you in far-off lands! The LORD called me before my birth; from within the womb he called me by name.

Don't forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders by birth. You were called "the uncircumcised ones" by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts.
In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from God's people, Israel, and you did not know the promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope.
But now you belong to Christ Jesus. Though you once were far away from God, now you have been brought near to him because of the blood of Christ.
For Christ himself has made peace between us Jews and you Gentiles by making us all one people. He has broken down the wall of hostility that used to separate us.
By his death he ended the whole system of Jewish law that excluded the Gentiles. His purpose was to make peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new person from the two groups.

Then King Darius sent this message to the people of every race and nation and language throughout the world: "Peace and prosperity to you!
"I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God, and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end.
He rescues and saves his people; he performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions."

They answered, "We are from a very distant country. We have heard of the might of the LORD your God and of all he did in Egypt.
We have also heard what he did to the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River--King Sihon of Heshbon and King Og of Bashan (who lived in Ashtaroth).

He has made his people strong, honoring his godly ones--the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the LORD!

"I know the LORD has given you this land," she told them. "We are all afraid of you. Everyone is living in terror.
For we have heard how the LORD made a dry path for you through the Red Sea when you left Egypt. And we know what you did to Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan River, whose people you completely destroyed.
No wonder our hearts have melted in fear! No one has the courage to fight after hearing such things. For the LORD your God is the supreme God of the heavens above and the earth below.

Sing a new song to the LORD, for he has done wonderful deeds. He has won a mighty victory by his power and holiness.
The LORD has announced his victory and has revealed his righteousness to every nation!

The nations are in an uproar, and kingdoms crumble! God thunders, and the earth melts!
The LORD Almighty is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress.
Come, see the glorious works of the LORD: See how he brings destruction upon the world
and causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear in two; he burns the shields with fire.
"Be silent, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."

Today the LORD will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel!

Then words of praise will be on their lips. May they have peace, both near and far, for I will heal them all," says the LORD.

When I raise my battle flag on the mountain, let all the world take notice. When I blow the trumpet, listen!

Then the princes, prefects, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn't even smell of smoke!
Then Nebuchadnezzar said, "Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king's command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.
Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be crushed into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!"
Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to even higher positions in the province of Babylon.
King Nebuchadnezzar sent this message to the people of every race and nation and language throughout the world: "Peace and prosperity to you!

Godly Jews from many nations were living in Jerusalem at that time.
When they heard this sound, they came running to see what it was all about, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers.
They were beside themselves with wonder. "How can this be?" they exclaimed. "These people are all from Galilee,
and yet we hear them speaking the languages of the lands where we were born!
Here we are--Parthians, Medes, Elamites, people from Mesopotamia, Judea, Cappadocia, Pontus, the province of Asia,

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
For he has fortified the bars of your gates and blessed your children within you.
He sends peace across your nation and satisfies you with plenty of the finest wheat.

Now, O LORD our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O LORD, are God."

Jerusalem has heard and rejoiced, and all the cities of Judah are glad because of your justice, LORD!
