16: "Leave the boat, all of you.

But Noah had gone into the boat that very day with his wife and his sons--Shem, Ham, and Japheth--and their wives.

Now listen and understand! Seven sets of seven plus sixty-two sets of seven will pass from the time the command is given to rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One comes. Jerusalem will be rebuilt with streets and strong defenses, despite the perilous times.
"After this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end.

But Paul replied, "They have publicly beaten us without trial and jailed us--and we are Roman citizens. So now they want us to leave secretly? Certainly not! Let them come themselves to release us!"
When the police made their report, the city officials were alarmed to learn that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens.
They came to the jail and apologized to them. Then they brought them out and begged them to leave the city.

The jailer woke up to see the prison doors wide open. He assumed the prisoners had escaped, so he drew his sword to kill himself.
But Paul shouted to him, "Don't do it! We are all here!"

"Command the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant to come up out of the riverbed."
So Joshua gave the command.
And as soon as the priests carrying the Ark of the LORD's covenant came up out of the riverbed, the Jordan River flooded its banks as before.

The priests who were carrying the Ark stood in the middle of the river until all of the LORD's instructions, which Moses had given to Joshua, were carried out. Meanwhile, the people hurried across the riverbed.

Finally, the day came when the LORD said to Noah, "Go into the boat with all your family, for among all the people of the earth, I consider you alone to be righteous.

and he went aboard the boat to escape--he and his wife and his sons and their wives.

Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.

Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the LORD's covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by them. They waited there until everyone had crossed the Jordan on dry ground.
