20: Mordecai recorded these events and sent letters to the Jews near and far, throughout all the king's provinces,

2 Corinthians 1:10

  1. And he did deliver us from mortal danger. And we are confident that he will continue to deliver us.

  1. He sent letters to all parts of the empire, to each province in its own script and language, proclaiming that every man should be the ruler of his home.

Esther 8:9

  1. So on June 25 the king's secretaries were summoned. As Mordecai dictated, they wrote a decree to the Jews and to the princes, governors, and local officials of all the 127 provinces stretching from India to Ethiopia. The decree was written in the scripts and languages of all the peoples of the empire, including the Jews.
