Amos 1:4

4: So I will send down fire on King Hazael's palace, and the fortresses of King Ben-hadad will be destroyed.

"And I will start a fire at the edge of Damascus that will burn up the palaces of Ben-hadad."

Now Elisha went to Damascus, the capital of Aram, where King Ben-hadad lay sick. Someone told the king that the man of God had come.
When the king heard the news, he said to Hazael, "Take a gift to the man of God. Then tell him to ask the LORD if I will get well again."
So Hazael loaded down forty camels with the finest products of Damascus as a gift for Elisha. He went in to him and said, "Your servant Ben-hadad, the king of Aram, has sent me to ask you if he will recover."
And Elisha replied, "Go and tell him, `You will recover.' But the LORD has shown me that he will actually die!"
Elisha stared at Hazael with a fixed gaze until Hazael became uneasy. Then the man of God started weeping.

" `But if you do not listen to me and refuse to keep the Sabbath holy, and if on the Sabbath day you bring loads of merchandise through the gates of Jerusalem just as on other days, then I will set fire to these gates. The fire will spread to the palaces, and no one will be able to put out the roaring flames.'"

Some time later, however, King Ben-hadad of Aram mobilized his entire army and besieged Samaria.

So the LORD was very angry with Israel, and he allowed King Hazael of Aram and his son Ben-hadad to defeat them time after time.

Then Jehoash son of Jehoahaz recaptured from Ben-hadad son of Hazael the towns that Hazael had taken from Jehoash's father, Jehoahaz. Jehoash defeated Ben-hadad on three occasions, and so recovered the Israelite towns.

God also punished the men of Shechem for all their evil. So the curse of Jotham son of Gideon came true.

Then the LORD told him, "Go back the way you came, and travel to the wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive there, anoint Hazael to be king of Aram.

So I will send down fire on the land of Moab, and all the fortresses in Kerioth will be destroyed. The people will fall in the noise of battle, as the warriors shout and the trumpets blare.

So I will send down fire on Judah, and all the fortresses of Jerusalem will be destroyed."

Asa responded by taking the silver and gold from the treasuries of the LORD's Temple and from the royal palace. He sent it to King Ben-hadad of Aram, who was ruling in Damascus, along with this message:

So I will send down fire on the walls of Rabbah, and all its fortresses will be destroyed. There will be wild shouts during the battle, swirling like a whirlwind in a mighty storm.

So I will send down fire on Teman, and the fortresses of Bozrah will be destroyed."

Now King Ben-hadad of Aram mobilized his army, supported by the chariots and horses of thirty-two allied kings. They went to besiege Samaria, the Israelite capital, and launched attacks against it.
Ben-hadad sent messengers into the city to relay this message to King Ahab of Israel: "This is what Ben-hadad says:
`Your silver and gold are mine, and so are the best of your wives and children!'"
"All right, my lord," Ahab replied. "All that I have is yours!"
Soon Ben-hadad's messengers returned again and said, "This is what Ben-hadad says: `I have already demanded that you give me your silver, gold, wives, and children.

And I will rain down fire on Magog and on all your allies who live safely on the coasts. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

"Israel has built great palaces, and Judah has fortified its cities. But they have both forgotten their Maker. Therefore, I will send down fire on their palaces and burn their fortresses."

And the people of Egypt will know that I am the LORD when I have set Egypt on fire and destroyed all their allies.

If you have acted honorably and in good faith toward Gideon and his descendants, then may you find joy in Abimelech, and may he find joy in you.
But if you have not acted in good faith, then may fire come out from Abimelech and devour the people of Shechem and Beth-millo; and may fire come out from the people of Shechem and Beth-millo and devour Abimelech!"

So I will send down fire on the walls of Tyre, and all its fortresses will be destroyed."

So I will send down fire on the walls of Gaza, and all its fortresses will be destroyed.
