2 Chronicles 20:6

  1. He prayed, "O LORD, God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!

Judges 1:1

  1. After Joshua died, the Israelites asked the LORD, "Which tribe should attack the Canaanites first?"
  2. The LORD answered, "Judah, for I have given them victory over the land."

Joshua 8:1

  1. Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid or discouraged. Take the entire army and attack Ai, for I have given to you the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land.
  2. You will destroy them as you destroyed Jericho and its king. But this time you may keep the captured goods and the cattle for yourselves. Set an ambush behind the city."
