2 Chronicles 5:10

10: Nothing was in the Ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed there at Mount Sinai, when the LORD made a covenant with the people of Israel after they left Egypt.

Hebrews 9:4

  1. In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called the Ark of the Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside the Ark were a gold jar containing some manna, Aaron's staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant with the Ten Commandments written on them.

  1. There I have placed the Ark, and in the Ark is the covenant that the LORD made with the people of Israel."

Deuteronomy 10:2

  1. and I will write on the tablets the same words that were on the ones you smashed. Then place the tablets in the sacred chest--the Ark of the Covenant.'

Exodus 24:7

  1. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They all responded again, "We will do everything the LORD has commanded. We will obey."
  2. Then Moses sprinkled the blood from the basins over the people and said, "This blood confirms the covenant the LORD has made with you in giving you these laws."

Exodus 32:15

  1. Then Moses turned and went down the mountain. He held in his hands the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant. They were inscribed on both sides, front and back.
  2. These stone tablets were God's work; the words on them were written by God himself.

Hebrews 8:6

  1. Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the nations of the earth; for all the earth belongs to me.

Exodus 31:18

  1. Then as the LORD finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, written by the finger of God.

Jeremiah 31:31

  1. "The day will come," says the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.

Deuteronomy 29:1

  1. These are the terms of the covenant the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites while they were in the land of Moab, in addition to the covenant he had made with them at Mount Sinai.

Exodus 40:20

  1. He placed inside the Ark the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, and then he attached the Ark's carrying poles. He also set the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--on top of it.

Deuteronomy 29:10

  1. All of you--your tribal leaders, your judges, your officers, all the men of Israel--are standing today before the LORD your God.
  2. With you are your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners living among you who chop your wood and carry your water.
  3. You are standing here today to enter into a covenant with the LORD your God. The LORD is making this covenant with you today, and he has sealed it with an oath.
  4. He wants to confirm you today as his people and to confirm that he is your God, just as he promised you, and as he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
  5. But you are not the only ones with whom the LORD is making this covenant with its obligations.

Exodus 34:1

  1. The LORD told Moses, "Prepare two stone tablets like the first ones. I will write on them the same words that were on the tablets you smashed.

Exodus 32:19

  1. When they came near the camp, Moses saw the calf and the dancing. In terrible anger, he threw the stone tablets to the ground, smashing them at the foot of the mountain.
