2 Chronicles 34:1

1: Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years.

The LORD gave these messages to Zephaniah when Josiah son of Amon was king of Judah. Zephaniah was the son of Cushi, son of Gedaliah, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah.

The LORD first gave messages to Jeremiah during the thirteenth year of King Josiah's reign in Judah.

Now Samuel, though only a boy, was the LORD's helper. He wore a linen tunic just like that of a priest.

But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made his son Josiah the next king.

O LORD my God, now you have made me king instead of my father, David, but I am like a little child who doesn't know his way around.
And here I am among your own chosen people, a nation so great they are too numerous to count!
Give me an understanding mind so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great nation of yours?"

Hezekiah was the father of Manasseh. Manasseh was the father of Amos. Amos was the father of Josiah.
Josiah was the father of Jehoiachin and his brothers (born at the time of the exile to Babylon).

The people of Judah then crowned Amaziah's sixteen-year-old son, Uzziah, as their next king.

Meanwhile, as young Samuel grew taller, he also continued to gain favor with the LORD and with the people.

It is better to be a poor but wise youth than to be an old and foolish king who refuses all advice.

Joash was seven years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem forty years. His mother was Zibiah, from Beersheba.

The sons of Josiah were Johanan (the oldest), Jehoiakim (the second), Zedekiah (the third), and Jehoahaz (the fourth).

Then at the LORD's command, he shouted, "O altar, altar! This is what the LORD says: A child named Josiah will be born into the dynasty of David. On you he will sacrifice the priests from the pagan shrines who come here to burn incense, and human bones will be burned on you."

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah from Bozkath.
He did what was pleasing in the LORD's sight and followed the example of his ancestor David. He did not turn aside from doing what was right.
In the eighteenth year of his reign, King Josiah sent Shaphan son of Azaliah and grandson of Meshullam, the court secretary, to the Temple of the LORD. He told him,
"Go up to Hilkiah the high priest and have him count the money the gatekeepers have collected from the people at the LORD's Temple.
Entrust this money to the men assigned to supervise the Temple's restoration. Then they can use it to pay workers to repair the Temple of the LORD.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years.
