2 Chronicles 30:1
1: King Hezekiah now sent word to all Israel and Judah, and he wrote letters of invitation to Ephraim and Manasseh. He asked everyone to come to the Temple of the LORD at Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover of the LORD, the God of Israel.
2 Chronicles 25:7
- But a man of God came to the king and said, "O king, do not hire troops from Israel, for the LORD is not with Israel. He will not help those people of Ephraim!
Hosea 7:8
- "My people of Israel mingle with godless foreigners, picking up their evil ways. Now they have become as worthless as a half-baked cake!
- Worshiping foreign gods has sapped their strength, but they don't even know it. Israel is like an old man with graying hair, unaware of how weak and old he has become.

- From all over Israel, those who sincerely wanted to worship the LORD, the God of Israel, followed the Levites to Jerusalem, where they could offer sacrifices to the LORD, the God of their ancestors.
Exodus 12:3
- Announce to the whole community that on the tenth day of this month each family must choose a lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice.
- If a family is too small to eat an entire lamb, let them share the lamb with another family in the neighborhood. Whether or not they share in this way depends on the size of each family and how much they can eat.
- This animal must be a one-year-old male, either a sheep or a goat, with no physical defects.
- "Take special care of these lambs until the evening of the fourteenth day of this first month. Then each family in the community must slaughter its lamb.
- They are to take some of the lamb's blood and smear it on the top and sides of the doorframe of the house where the lamb will be eaten.
Deuteronomy 16:2
- Your Passover sacrifice may be from either the flock or the herd, and it must be sacrificed to the LORD your God at the place he chooses for his name to be honored.
- Eat it with bread made without yeast. For seven days eat only bread made without yeast, as you did when you escaped from Egypt in such a hurry. Eat this bread--the bread of suffering--so that you will remember the day you departed from Egypt as long as you live.
- Let no yeast be found in any house throughout your land for seven days. And do not let any of the meat of the Passover lamb remain until the next morning.
- "The Passover must not be eaten in the towns that the LORD your God is giving you.
- It must be offered at the place the LORD your God will choose for his name to be honored. Sacrifice it there as the sun goes down on the anniversary of your exodus from Egypt.

- But all the priests and Levites living among the northern tribes of Israel sided with Rehoboam.
1 Corinthians 5:7
- Remove this wicked person from among you so that you can stay pure. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.
- So let us celebrate the festival, not by eating the old bread of wickedness and evil, but by eating the new bread of purity and truth.

- The messengers went from town to town throughout Ephraim and Manasseh and as far as the territory of Zebulun. But most of the people just laughed at the messengers and made fun of them.
- However, some from Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and went to Jerusalem.

- "Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go? How can I destroy you like Admah and Zeboiim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows.
