14: When all the repairs were finished, they brought the remaining money to the king and Jehoiada. It was used to make utensils for the Temple of the LORD--utensils for worship services and for burnt offerings, including ladles and other vessels made of gold and silver. And the burnt offerings were sacrificed continually in the Temple of the LORD during the lifetime of Jehoiada the priest.

1 Kings 7:50

  5. "This is to be a daily burnt offering given from generation to generation. Offer it in the LORD's presence at the Tabernacle entrance, where I will meet you and speak with you.

Numbers 28:2

  1. "Give these instructions to the people of Israel: The offerings you present to me by fire on the altar are my food, and they are very pleasing to me. See to it that they are brought at the appointed times and offered according to my instructions.
  2. "Say to them: When you present your daily whole burnt offerings to the LORD, you must offer two one-year-old male lambs with no physical defects.
  3. One lamb will be sacrificed in the morning and the other in the evening.
  4. With each lamb you must offer a grain offering of two quarts of choice flour mixed with one quart of olive oil.
  5. This is the regular burnt offering ordained at Mount Sinai, an offering made by fire, very pleasing to the LORD.
