3: For a long time, Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach them, and without God's law.
Leviticus 10:11

Hosea 3:4
- This illustrates that Israel will be a long time without a king or prince, and without sacrifices, temple, priests, or even idols!
Romans 2:12
- God will punish the Gentiles when they sin, even though they never had God's written law. And he will punish the Jews when they sin, for they do have the law.
Ezekiel 44:21
