Acts 20:1

  1. When it was all over, Paul sent for the believers and encouraged them. Then he said good-bye and left for Macedonia.
  2. Along the way, he encouraged the believers in all the towns he passed through. Then he traveled down to Greece,
  3. where he stayed for three months. He was preparing to sail back to Syria when he discovered a plot by some Jews against his life, so he decided to return through Macedonia.

2 Corinthians 1:15

  1. Since I was so sure of your understanding and trust, I wanted to give you a double blessing.
  2. I wanted to stop and see you on my way to Macedonia and again on my return trip. Then you could send me on my way to Judea.
  3. You may be asking why I changed my plan. Hadn't I made up my mind yet? Or am I like people of the world who say yes when they really mean no?
