1 Corinthians 14:2
2: For if your gift is the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking to God but not to people, since they won't be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious.

1 Corinthians 13:2

- By God's special favor and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.
1 Corinthians 14:27
- No more than two or three should speak in an unknown language. They must speak one at a time, and someone must be ready to interpret what they are saying.
- But if no one is present who can interpret, they must be silent in your church meeting and speak in tongues to God privately.
