James --> Chapter 1 Verse 2-4

ASV 2  Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
ASV 3  Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
ASV 4  And let patience have `its' perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

BBE 2  Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort;
BBE 3  Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope;
BBE 4  But let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.

DARBY 2  Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into various temptations,

MSG 2  Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides.
