List of the kings of Israel

This is a tabular list of the Kings of the Kingdom of Israel. Organized in chronological orders of their reigns. Parameters include their number in the list of kings, the length of their reign, the cause of their reign's end and notable actions they performed. The list follows the name "Israel" as a nation, though the united people lasted only under three kings.

The Kingdom of Israel (or Northern Kingdom, a.k.a. Samaria or Ephraim) existed as an independent state until c. 722 B.C. when it was conquered by the Assyrian Empire. In the ninth year of Hosea's reign, the king of Assyria took the Israelites from the Northern Kingdom captive and deported them to Assyria. This marked the end of the Kingdom of Israel.
